Solar providers faced increasing inbound demand, but their digital touchpoints were not built to handle scale. Early-stage qualification relied on generic forms, manual follow-ups, and costly on-site visits. Critical information about property type, roof structure, and installation feasibility was either missing or inaccurate.
As a result, sales teams spent significant time filtering low-quality leads, technical teams lacked reliable data for planning, and customers experienced long waiting times before receiving meaningful feedback. The challenge was to reduce friction in the pre-sales phase while maintaining technical accuracy and user trust.

I designed a mobile-first SaaS experience that enables users to capture all relevant technical and contextual data upfront—without requiring expert knowledge.
Through a structured, step-by-step flow, users can define property characteristics, roof construction, and ownership details. Visual planning tools such as satellite view, 3D models, and AR allow users to map usable roof surfaces and instantly see realistic module configurations.
By replacing free-text inputs with guided selections and visual feedback, the product aligns with users’ mental models while generating high-quality, structured data for downstream systems like CRM, sales, and technical planning.
